Formerly from a vocal group called Crescendo, which Andi A. Merican co-found and ‘Infinatez’, another vocal group he was a member of, which later on became the finalist of Gangstarz TV3 against Indonesia and Singapore, Andi had recently taken the bold step to explore the possibilities as a solo artiste. Andi Merican participated in P Ramlee, The Musical, a musical theatre on the life of the great legendary man-of-many talent – P Ramlee. This musical produced by Enfiniti Productions was performed at the Istana Budaya, Kuala Lumpur as well as The Esplanade, Singapore and received incredible commendations and accolades for its production, direction, music and set-designs.

In June 9, 2011, Andi launched his MTV Solo (featuring Altimet) on YouTube. Today, his MTV has reached more than 60,000 viewership. Andi is one of the boys behind Malaysia Talents, decided to bring his music work to another platform into the area of New Media.He formed a team and lead this eMagazine called Malaysian Talents. Lead by an example, with his MTV, Andi is working hard to create an opportunities for all his friends to shine.
